Gelada

Gelada will perform outside of Que Chula.

Jordon Reynolds akak Gelada is a graduating senior at the University of North Carolina. During his time at UNC, he was a member of the Clef Hangers acapella group. He now writes and produces his own music.

Beats Working

Beats Working will perform at Peace and Justice Plaza.

Beats Working is re-exploring the music we love, based on lifetimes of music making. Songs about Time, the Night, Hope, the Sea. Celebration. We like to meet folks eye-to-eye, draw them into our sound, moisten their eyes, then boogie their sox off.

Certain Seas (Katharine Whalen, Austin Riopel, Danny Grewen) will perform at Blue Dogwood Public Market.

Certain Seas is an indie-folk project from Katharine Whalen (banjo, tenor guitar, vocals), Austin Riopel (guitar, vocals), and Danny Grewen (trombone, euphonium, vocals). Their songs bring a special sense of harmony and lyricism that looks this strange world in the eye with a bittersweet sense of humor. Since the start of the pandemic they have put out a weekly livestream from Yonder: Southern Cocktails and Brew where they have performed a variety of jazz, jug, and folk tunes in addition to their original catalog.
