We hope you’ll celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year by supporting a few local businesses in a way you didn’t get the opportunity to last spring!
March 17 is the one-year anniversary of restaurants and bars closing in-restaurant seating — make the most of the opportunity you have this year by enjoying a lunch, sweet treat or snack, or dinner and drinks with your favorite local business.
Here are a few of our favorite traditional
(& unique!) St. Patty’s Day picks around town.
Traditional Irish Favorites:
Carolina Brewery is tapping its Shamrock Ale Wednesday to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Enjoy a pint with a meal from their holiday menu — choose from Reuben Egg Rolls, Reuben Sandwich, and Corned Beef and Cabbage.
Carolina Coffee Shop is offering several drink specials throughout the day along with traditional Irish food options. Order an Irish Coffee, Leprechaun Mimosa, or $6 Irish Breakfast shot to go with breakfast or brunch. Guinness is $5, so are Jameson shots and Coffee Shop has Corned Beef Hash to eat with whatever your drink of choice is.
Four Corners has $4 Guinness pints, $5 Jameson shots & Irish Car Bombs and you can order a 20 oz. green beer for $3.75. Eat a Reuben sandwich or meal of corned beef and cabbage to go all out — we all need the luck of the Irish these days, right?
Might as Well and Irish Car Bombs go together like Sundays and hangovers (hey, they said it first!) The restaurant is opening at noon to get things rolling. Enjoy $5 green beer mugs, car bombs, Irish Whiskey and baby Guinness drinks.
Lucky local holiday twists:
Cha House has a beautiful green Machtajito, special for the occassion.
Enjoy Green Bagels with Golden Spread at Brandwein’s Bagels all day (if you’re truly lucky, you’ll find one of several “golden ticket,” prizes included with your sandwich.
Head to The Yogurt Pump for Irish Mint in a cup or a cone to sweeten up the mid-week holiday.
Purple Bowl’s “Pot of Gold,” hits the jackpot if you’re feeling lucky & wanting to stay healthy as you celebrate.
