Introducing The Gathering Place’s Uber Cubathon!
DATE: Saturday April 27th
TIME: 9am-9pm
PRIZE SUPPORT: $1500 to Top 8
Breaks will occur in between rounds 1 & 2 of the main Cubathon. Breaks will occur at 1PM and 6PM
Prepare yourself for an all-day cube experience. Saturday, April 27th, from 9am to 9:30pm all will gather from far and wide to join us for a full-fledged day of Magic the Gathering cube fun!
Highlighting and showcasing a plethora of fantastic cubes from UberCube. This event will surely be filled with blast from the past cards as well as new modern staples added to everyone’s favorite cubing list. The cube list includes but is not limited to:
Uber Bear’s Artifact Cube
Sammich’s Peasant Cube
BUG Sammich
The Monopoly
Almost Legendary
And so many more!
The Main Event will be a Swiss Cube 1.5k with the format being a random cube of UberCube’s selection. Round One will ask all players to draft a random cube in a random pod. Top half of round One will move on to Round Two, where they will draft another cube. The top two of each of the pods move onto a top 8 cut where they will draft the one and only Vintage Power Cube.
Battle through the Swiss to reach your chance of drafting one of the most powerful limited formats of Magic the Gathering the game has to offer and claim the cash prize!
