Come for a very Latine Literary event. Cafe Cortado is an event where our Latine community and allies come to meet and talk literature. All in Spanish,  this event serves as a gathering of minds to talk about the beauty that is literature in our native languages.

About the book

The three stories that unfold in these pages confront us with the avatars of lost men, paralyzed – emotionally speaking -, out of place but aware of the appearances of the world – that of academia, that of political power and that of societies both sides of the border – those who flee from the boredom, failure and meaninglessness of their lives to find themselves, hopelessly, with disenchantment and drift. With his stories, Luis Horacio Heredia warns us “that invoking memory is like invoking the devil: there is a risk of being led to an infinite succession of rapid journeys towards the darkest part of the soul.”
