Here is the music lineup for Friday evening, September 9.


Angela & Will
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Epilogue Books

Angela & Will will perform near Epilogue Books at 109 E. Franklin St. Angela DiPaolo is a violinist and music educator. William Woltz worked for years in classical radio but holds an abiding passion for the music of Buck Owens and Billie Holiday. Together, Angela & Will bring their vocal harmonies and instrumental skills to bear on a growing body of original tunes plus interesting songs from the American landscape, making for a compelling and entertaining musical experience. They are based in Wake Forest, NC.

The Simple Joy
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at 140 West

The Simply Joy will be performing at 140 West Franklin St. The Simple Joy is a four-piece out of Durham, NC, playing original Americana tunes that combine blues, rock, folk, country and other influences with lyric-driven songs and multi-part harmonies.  TSJ is Stephen Munoz (lead guitar, lap steel, keys, bass, vocals), Pam McCarthy (drums, vocals), Michael Lowry (bass, lead guitar, vocals), and Tuck Satterfield (rhythm guitar, harmonica, vocals).

Cam Knopp
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Talulla’s

Cam Knopp will be performing near Talulla’s at 456 W. Franklin St. Since moving down to the Triangle over a year ago, Cam has managed to quickly establish himself in the music scene through his intricate fingerpicking arrangements of well-known songs and his vast library of soulful originals. He is currently working on a self-recorded full-length album, which will be released this Fall.
