The Auxiliary
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. near The Purple Bowl
The Auxiliary is the musical alias of American songwriter and musician Russell Howard. He will be performing near The Purple Bowl at 306 W. Franklin St. As the only child of two accomplished classical musicians, Russell spent countless hours bearing witness to the orchestral cannon before he uttered his first words. It was this abundant yet compulsory musical environment that both delayed and ensured Russell’s eventual embrace of popular music. After originally debuting and touring heavily as a solo acoustic artist, the songwriter began to feel the boundaries of the genre limiting the scope and direction of the music. A full shut down, new fatherhood, and global pandemic later, The Auxiliary debuted with Overture and Overture (Acoustic) in early 2022. Follow him on Facebook and Instagram.
Laura [@LMSongs]
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Talulla’s
