DJ Shizz
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
at the Henderson St. Downtown Tailgate/Peace & Justice Plaza

A proud Charlotte, North Carolina native and North Carolina Central University Alumni. DJ Shizz gained her momentum from rocking campus events, campus parties, college house parties, and homecomings. After graduating from North Carolina Central University with a major in Physical Education and concentration in Fitness and Wellness, she furthered her DJ career while joining the radio industry, Hot 97.9FM. She has Dj’d for MC Lyte, Saint Augustine’s University and DJ Luke Nasty. She has Dj’d all over North Carolina, including in Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Burlington, Durham, and Mount Holly.

Rony Thomas

Rony Thomas has been a regular part of our downtown music scene as “Smooth,” the pianist in the duo Sway & Smooth. This is his first solo performance with us, although he’s been performing solo for years.

Andrew Kasab is a Modern Folk artist, American fingerstyle guitarist, harp guitarist, baritone guitarist and singer-songwriter. He is known for combining traditional and contemporary techniques and energetic performances.

He is a nationally touring musician with over 30 years experience and has released 12 albums of solo material.

Andrew is a BMI artist and is endorsed by K&K Sound and Timberline Guitars.
