This event is here for first-time students looking to experience what The Gathering Place has to offer. A huge non-alcoholic selection (not to mention tons of alcoholic brews) , hundreds of FREE board games, and a warm relaxing staff and environment. Be comfortable being yourself in one of Chapel Hill’s most progressive spaces, and have a great time while doing so with this entirely FREE event lineup!

The Back to School Bash Schedule!

12:00PM: Start the day off with our hundreds of free board games! Outside of that, water beer pong, ping pong, and cornhole will be out in full force!

1:00PM: First learn to play magic session is here! This will be BASICS, we have printed out sheets for people to keep with the very basics and friendly, knowledge staff to help guide your MTG Experience.

3:00PM: $5- Pot and decorate a dorm-friendly potted plant with our own personal green thumb, Meredith!

6:00PM: Learn to play D&D in a comfortable environment with seasoned Dungeon Masters! No experience, No character sheet? No Problem!

7:00- Had fun at 1 and you just can’t wait for more? We have a custom learn to play limited Magic the Gathering at 7!

10:00 pm- Sing your heart out with TGP Karaoke!

Non-Alcoholic Beverages on sale all day, and specialty NA Cocktails brewed by staff!
