Chapel Hill Community Arts & Culture has partnered with Chapel Hill-native Saxsquatch to bring the weird back to our town.
We’re hosting a flash mob at the intersection of Franklin and Columbia Street, where you’ll have the chance to dance alongside Saxsquatch. Once the flash mob ends, make your way to the 140 West Franklin Plaza for a live DJ, community, and the chance to snag the Saxsquatch swag of your dreams.
Fairies, elves, extraterrestrials, and so much more. We’re calling all cryptids to join us. Come dressed as the creature you think is out there.
What’s the cause? In true Chapel Hill fashion, we’re doing all of this to benefit one of our local organizations. PORCH Chapel Hill-Carrboro works to fight hunger by mobilizing neighbors, building community, and providing fresh, healthy food. Do your part by bringing a can of nonperishable food to the event.
This free event is family-friendly and open to all ages.
