Spend a summer evening making art at the Ackland’s 2nd Friday ArtWalk: Twilights on the Terrace.

Charlotte-based artist Georgie Nakima will be back at the Ackland to lead pop-up art-making sessions inspired by her pen and watercolor portraits, as well as her installation Pantheress, on view through July in the Ackland’s ART& space. At 6, 7, and 8 p.m. Georgie will share tips and techniques for working in watercolor – free, all ages, and all materials provided.

Throughout the evening, sweet treats and drinks will be available for purchase from local vendors.
