Here is the music lineup for Friday evening, November 4.

Scott Bouldin
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Epilogue

Scott Bouldin will perform near Epilogue Books at 109 E. Franklin St. He is a singer songwriter who performs regionally. He has two albums, Dragging Bones and Chasing Brightness. You can learn more about Scott on his website or by following him on Facebook and Instagram.

Spring Lane
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., The Purple Bowl

Spring Lane will perform near The Purple Bowl at 306 E. Franklin St. They are an acoustic group focused on tight three-part harmony and songs that people love. Anne (guitar, vocals), Adriana (guitar, banjo, vocals), Dana (vocals), and Brent (upright bass), along with special guest artists, play everything from bluegrass tunes to pop covers, with some originals thrown in for fun. Formed in 2022, the band is quickly taking the Triangle by storm, with gigs at Vecino Brewing Company, Steel String, 401 Main, and open mics all over – you never know where they’ll turn up next so be sure to follow them on Instagram!    

Stephan Herr
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Talulla’s

Stephan Herr will perform outside of Talulla’s at 456 W. Franklin. Stephan was born in Dusseldorf and emigrated to the US with his parents at age 13. He played first played cornet then switched to flute and has since started playing alto sax. He went back to Germany and attended the Kasseler Musikakadamie for two years. He came back to the states and attended UNC for his Master’s degree. Stephan has played with local bands including Johnathan Byrd’s, UNC jazz bands, and he’s played classical flute with pianist Seth Jones. He currently plays tenor saxophone for the Ambassadors Big Band, based in Chapel Hill. He speaks German, English and French.
